Rob Bresser’s Drink of the Month – March 2008

In honor of one of my favorite hollidays:

This month I have a special treat for you. Three, yes, THREE beverages to consider.

First, I’d like you to try Sam Adams Irish Red. It’s fantastic. I recently stumbled onto this accidentally. (Thank you Puppet Master!) Full bodied and smooth, you won’t be disappointed!

Second, try sipping (or shooting) Bushmill’s Irish Whiskey. It’s pricey, but smooth. An easy sipper with no gut-wrenching. As a shot, rest asured, you’ll get your money’s worth.

Finally, give the Irish Patty* a chance:
1 oz Bailey’s® Irish cream
1 oz creme de cacao
1 oz green creme de menthe

Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice, shake until completely cold then strain into a chilled stemmed or a Rocks glass filled with ice. Side garnish with a York Peppermint Paddy or a Fudge Mint Oreo.
