Sources tell us that once his run as Vice President is over, Dick Cheney will be hosting his very own hunting show titled “Coon Huntin’ with Big Dick!”  Our field correspondent attempted to contact Republican Presidential nominee John McCain but everyone one of his phone calls yielded the response “Dick who?”  On the other hand Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama said that “this is a travesty of justice” and that the “racist cracker should not be allowed near a gun let alone own one.”  An unconfirmed response from a Cheney representative was “Fuck him, I’ll bust a cap in his ass.”

We here at Sock Puppets From Hell feel that it is sometimes important to report on current events that affect our lives. So earlier today when we heard news of the “Economic Bailout” being finalized we decided to send one of our field correspondents down to Wall Street in lower Manhattan to show support. Unfortunately he misinterpreted the meaning of Bailout. He did, however, manage to raise a few eyebrows and that’s good enough for us.

YES!!!  I am back!  Finally, having been cleared of wrong doing of the most rediculous nature; never take cough medicine at work, children.  Here it is, folks, from me to you the October rendition of my D.O.M:

Harvest Moon Punch:

1 gal. Apple Cider (fresh is best if available)

6 Cinnamon Sticks

6 Cloves

6 Star Anises

1 Orange Peel

Place all into a stainless steel pot and simmer for an hour (No boiling, Goddam it!).  Strain the liquid off into a punch bowl, add a quart of your favorite bourbon and serve.  Best served warm.

Recipe by Dale DeGroff published in October 2008, Playboy.  Go get this Cocktail Guru’s book, The Essential Cocktail.  Order here.

Don’t forget the Samual Adams Octoberfest Seasonal is out now!  Grab some while you can!  There are also many other seasonal brews being released now by other brewmasters.  Experiment and see what your favorite is.  Especially look for Harvest Moon by Blue Moon, Jinx by Magic Hat, and Jack’s Pumpkin Spice Ale by Anheuser-Busch (Michelob Brewing Company).
